Day 34: Small Steps, Big Ideas

Day 34: Small Steps, Big Ideas

Some days feel like you’re scaling a mountain; others feel like you're trudging through quicksand. Today was a quicksand kind of day.

I started the morning determined to find social media influencers who could help amplify our message. Scrolling through profiles, comparing engagement, and trying to decide who best embodies Isloved's vibe—it’s harder than it sounds. Then came the challenge of crafting a pitch email that’s warm, authentic, and engaging, but also concise (because no one wants a novel in their inbox).

By midday, I found myself knee-deep in website layout frustrations. Why is it that customizing a page feels like trying to play cards with half a deck? There’s definitely some homework to be done there because I know a smooth, beautiful site is essential.

But not all was lost! I managed to kick off a new campaign: Dog a Day. Each day, a different breed takes center stage with a 30% discount on its collection. It’s a fun way to celebrate our furry friends and (hopefully) spark some buzz. Fingers crossed this idea resonates with dog lovers and boosts engagement.

If I’m honest, today didn’t feel particularly productive. But as I reflect, I realize there’s value in showing up even when it’s hard. Not every day will feel like a win, and that’s okay. Each effort—whether it’s reaching out to influencers, crafting a campaign, or learning what not to do on the site—adds to the bigger picture.

Here’s to the little things paving the way for something extraordinary. ✨

Let’s see what tomorrow brings.
