Some days you climb the mountain. Today was quicksand.
The morning went to influencer research: scrolling profiles, comparing engagement, trying to judge who actually embodies what IsLoved is about. Harder than it sounds. Then the pitch email — warm, genuine, and short enough to survive a stranger's inbox, which turns out to be its own small writing project.
Midday belonged to layout frustrations. Customizing a page on this site feels like trying to play cards with half a deck, and I clearly have homework to do before the store is as smooth as it needs to be.
One thing did get out the door: a new campaign called Dog a Day. Each day a different breed takes center stage, with 30% off that breed's collection. It's a small way to celebrate the dogs, and — fingers crossed — the kind of idea that sparks some buzz with the people who love them.
If I'm honest, today didn't feel productive. But the influencer list exists now, the campaign is live, and I know one more thing not to do with the layout. Quicksand is still ground. It's just slower.
