Bernedoodle
To a kid, the Bernedoodle is mostly a mountain that plays — patient, enormous, and always on their side. The base-camp gear: brushed-soft midweight fleece, a double-lined hood for real warmth, a roomy kangaroo pocket, and a preshrunk knit that resists pilling all winter.
Materials
A medium-weight 8.0 oz 50/50 cotton-poly blend — ultra-soft, preshrunk fleece that’s cozy against the skin. A spacious kangaroo pocket keeps hands warm, and a twill-taped neck holds its shape. Regular fit, runs true to size; sizes S–XL.
Care
- Machine wash: warm (max 40C or 105F)
- Bleach as needed
- Tumble dry: medium heat
- Do not iron
- Do not dry clean

Meet the Bernedoodle
Both parents bring long résumés: the Bernese Mountain Dog spent centuries as a Swiss farm all-rounder, hauling carts and minding cattle, while the Poodle worked German waters as a retriever before conquering the show ring. The cross between them is barely two decades old, part of the designer wave the Labradoodle began in the 1980s. No registry recognizes it — the pedigree lives with the parents.
