Bloodhound
To a kid, the Bloodhound is a solemn giant who can find anything — socks, snacks, and most often the kid. For the frequently found: brushed-soft midweight fleece, a double-lined hood for real warmth, a roomy kangaroo pocket, and a preshrunk knit that resists pilling.
Materials
A medium-weight 8.0 oz 50/50 cotton-poly blend — ultra-soft, preshrunk fleece that’s cozy against the skin. A spacious kangaroo pocket keeps hands warm, and a twill-taped neck holds its shape. Regular fit, runs true to size; sizes S–XL.
Care
- Machine wash: warm (max 40C or 105F)
- Bleach as needed
- Tumble dry: medium heat
- Do not iron
- Do not dry clean

Meet the Bloodhound
Lore traces the breed to the Abbey of Saint-Hubert in the Ardennes, where monks were breeding renowned black-and-tan hounds around AD 1000; centuries of noble kennels refined the type, and the man-trailing work chose itself. The original European strain faded away, but English breeding preserved the dog we know. The American standard, written in 1896, has scarcely changed since — there was little to improve.
