Meet the Cavachon
A child of the designer-dog wave that followed the Labradoodle — but where most crosses chased a working skill or a coat, this one chased a temperament: the toy spaniel’s devotion wrapped in the bichon’s brighter, lower-shedding jacket. No kennel club recognizes the cross, and there is no standard — only two long companionship résumés, and a breeder whose transparency is everything.
