A Chiweenie picks its person early and holds the position for life. For the position-holder: substantial 6.0-ounce cotton, garment-dyed after sewing so the color settles into the weave, a wide rib collar, a tear-away label, and a fade that only deepens. Made to be kept.
Materials
A substantial 6.0 oz 100% cotton tee, garment-dyed after sewing for a soft, faded, vintage hand. A wide rib collar and taped neck and shoulders hold its shape; OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified. Relaxed fit, S–3XL.
Care
- Machine wash: cold (max 30C or 90F), gentle cycle
- Non-chlorine: bleach as needed
- Tumble dry: low heat

Meet the Chiweenie
Both parents bring serious résumés: the Dachshund was engineered in Germany to follow badgers underground, and the Chihuahua descends from the ancient companion dogs of Mexico. Crossing them is recent — most accounts place the first deliberate Chiweenie litters in 1990s North America, part of the designer-dog wave. No kennel club recognizes the mix, which has never slowed it down; charm requires no paperwork.
