Chow Chow
The Chow considers the cold morning walk from the doorway, then grants it exactly as long as it deserves. For the accompanist: medium-weight US cotton, easy to layer, ribbed cuffs that stretch on and settle back, a double-needle hem, and a shirt softer with every wash.
Materials
Medium-weight 6.0 oz 100% US cotton in an easy, classic tubular fit. A 1x1 ribbed collar and cuffs stretch and recover, taped neck and shoulders hold their shape, and a double-needle hem wears well. Sizes S–2XL.

Meet the Chow Chow
One of the world’s oldest breeds, the Chow served China for at least two thousand years as hunter, hauler, and guardian of home and boat. The English name is likely a Western invention — lore blames pidgin trade slang for miscellaneous ship’s cargo — though the dogs were never miscellaneous. The first Chow entered the AKC registry in 1903, a dog named Yen How.
