English Springer Spaniel
Ask a kid: the Springer was always there, first into every puddle and every plan. Let them wear their teammate: brushed-soft midweight fleece, a double-lined hood for real warmth, and a roomy kangaroo pocket for the finds the dog would proudly have flushed out first.
Materials
A medium-weight 8.0 oz 50/50 cotton-poly blend — ultra-soft, preshrunk fleece that’s cozy against the skin. A spacious kangaroo pocket keeps hands warm, and a twill-taped neck holds its shape. Regular fit, runs true to size; sizes S–XL.
Care
- Machine wash: warm (max 40C or 105F)
- Bleach as needed
- Tumble dry: medium heat
- Do not iron
- Do not dry clean

Meet the English Springer Spaniel
Land spaniels have flushed game for hunters since the Middle Ages, and the springer type carried the job into the shotgun era as the rough shooter’s all-purpose partner. England’s Kennel Club recognized the breed in 1902; the AKC followed in 1910. The dual career — companion and gundog, often in the same week — has never really stopped.
