English Springer Spaniel
A Springer treats the three a.m. feeding as a two-dog job even when there is only one of it. For the smallest one on the roster: long sleeves for drafty mornings, supremely soft combed cotton, ribbed binding that stretches and lasts, and snaps that keep changes brief.
Materials
Lightweight 5.0 oz combed, ring-spun cotton — smooth against a baby’s skin — with rib-knit bindings for durability and stretch, and plastic snaps at the cross closure for easy changing. Solid colors are 100% cotton; sizes newborn to 18 months.
Care
- Machine wash: cold (max 30C or 90F)
- Non-chlorine: bleach as needed
- Tumble dry: low heat
- Do not iron

Meet the English Springer Spaniel
Land spaniels have flushed game for hunters since the Middle Ages, and the springer type carried the job into the shotgun era as the rough shooter’s all-purpose partner. England’s Kennel Club recognized the breed in 1902; the AKC followed in 1910. The dual career — companion and gundog, often in the same week — has never really stopped.
