Small, regal, and surprisingly sturdy, the Lhasa Apso is a dog with a history of guarding Tibetan monasteries. Today, they’re loyal companions with a calm and dignified demeanor, though they’re not above a little playtime. With their long coats and protective instincts, they’re as unique as they are loving.
Materials
A lightweight 4.2 oz 100% Airlume combed, ring-spun cotton jersey — finely knit, smooth, and gentle on small skin. Side seams give it a proper shape, and a tear-away label keeps it comfortable. Solid colors are 100% cotton; sizes 2T–5T.
Care
- Machine wash: cold (max 30C or 90F)
- Do not bleach
- Tumble dry: low heat
- Iron, steam or dry: low heat
- Do not dry clean

Meet the Lhasa Apso
The Lhasa Apso is one of the world’s older breeds, shaped over centuries in the thin air of the Tibetan plateau and named for the sacred city at its heart. Bred small, coated for the cold, and wired for vigilance, they moved from watch duty to cherished companionship without ever quite resigning the first post. The AKC registered its first Lhasa Apso in 1935.
