Alaskan Klee Kai
To a kid, a Klee Kai is the only grown-up who talks back properly — chatter for chatter, secret for secret. For their half of the conversation: brushed-soft midweight fleece, a double-lined hood for real warmth, a roomy kangaroo pocket, and a knit that resists pilling.
Materials
A medium-weight 8.0 oz 50/50 cotton-poly blend — ultra-soft, preshrunk fleece that’s cozy against the skin. A spacious kangaroo pocket keeps hands warm, and a twill-taped neck holds its shape. Regular fit, runs true to size; sizes S–XL.
Care
- Machine wash: warm (max 40C or 105F)
- Bleach as needed
- Tumble dry: medium heat
- Do not iron
- Do not dry clean

Meet the Alaskan Klee Kai
One of the youngest breeds in this guide: developed from the 1970s by Linda Spurlin of Wasilla, Alaska, who crossed Alaskan and Siberian Huskies with smaller Nordic dogs — Schipperke, American Eskimo Dog — to shrink the husky without wrecking its soundness. The UKC recognized the breed in 1997; the AKC recorded it in its Foundation Stock Service in 2020.
