American Cocker Spaniel
To a kid, the Cocker was the gentle one — first to listen, last to leave, sweet-faced through every confession. For the confidant's person: brushed-soft midweight fleece, a double-lined hood for real warmth, a roomy kangaroo pocket, and a knit that resists pilling.
Materials
A medium-weight 8.0 oz 50/50 cotton-poly blend — ultra-soft, preshrunk fleece that’s cozy against the skin. A spacious kangaroo pocket keeps hands warm, and a twill-taped neck holds its shape. Regular fit, runs true to size; sizes S–XL.
Care
- Machine wash: warm (max 40C or 105F)
- Bleach as needed
- Tumble dry: medium heat
- Do not iron
- Do not dry clean

Meet the American Cocker Spaniel
Spaniels came to America early — one reportedly landed with the Mayflower — and cockers, named for the woodcock they flushed, became the household bird dog. American fanciers bred theirs smaller and plusher than the English type, with a rounder head and more coat, until the two diverged for good: the AKC split them into separate breeds in 1946. In the States, “Cocker Spaniel” means this one.
