Border Terrier
To a kid, the Border Terrier was always game — first through the hedge, first back, never once tired of the same adventure. Let them wear their accomplice: brushed-soft midweight fleece, a double-lined hood for real warmth, and a kangaroo pocket for finds worth digging up.
Materials
A medium-weight 8.0 oz 50/50 cotton-poly blend — ultra-soft, preshrunk fleece that’s cozy against the skin. A spacious kangaroo pocket keeps hands warm, and a twill-taped neck holds its shape. Regular fit, runs true to size; sizes S–XL.
Care
- Machine wash: warm (max 40C or 105F)
- Bleach as needed
- Tumble dry: medium heat
- Do not iron
- Do not dry clean

Meet the Border Terrier
Before the name settled, they were the Coquetdale Terrier and the Redesdale Terrier, after the Northumberland valleys that bred them. Farmers and the local hunts — including the Border Hunt, which lent the final name — relied on them for generations before the fancy noticed. The Kennel Club recognized the breed in 1920, the AKC in 1930, and the dogs changed remarkably little on the way.
