At three a.m., the Border Terrier pads down the hall with you — small dogs take the night shift seriously. For the newest member of the crew: long sleeves against drafty mornings, supremely soft combed ring-spun cotton, ribbed binding that stretches and lasts, and fuss-free snaps.
Materials
Lightweight 5.0 oz combed, ring-spun cotton — smooth against a baby’s skin — with rib-knit bindings for durability and stretch, and plastic snaps at the cross closure for easy changing. Solid colors are 100% cotton; sizes newborn to 18 months.
Care
- Machine wash: cold (max 30C or 90F)
- Non-chlorine: bleach as needed
- Tumble dry: low heat
- Do not iron
- Do not dry clean

Meet the Border Terrier
Before the name settled, they were the Coquetdale Terrier and the Redesdale Terrier, after the Northumberland valleys that bred them. Farmers and the local hunts — including the Border Hunt, which lent the final name — relied on them for generations before the fancy noticed. The Kennel Club recognized the breed in 1920, the AKC in 1930, and the dogs changed remarkably little on the way.
