English Setter
A Setter believes cold mornings are for ranging, and it carries the vote with kindly persistence. For the outnumbered party: medium-weight US cotton, easy to layer, ribbed cuffs that stretch on and settle back, and a shirt that softens with every wash and every early field.

Medium-weight 6.0 oz 100% US cotton in an easy, classic tubular fit. A 1x1 ribbed collar and cuffs stretch and recover, taped neck and shoulders hold their shape, and a double-needle hem wears well. Sizes S–2XL.

Meet the English Setter
Setting dogs are centuries old: crouching low before birds so hunters could throw a net over covey and dog alike. The gun changed the job; the Victorians refined the dog. When the American Kennel Club opened its studbook in 1878, an English Setter named Adonis was registered as number one — the first dog on the first page of the American registry.
