Golden Retriever
To a kid, the Golden was always there — older sibling, pillow, audience for every scheme. Let them wear the family's fourth member: brushed-soft midweight fleece, a double-lined hood for real warmth, and a kangaroo pocket for treasures the dog would also like to inspect.
Materials
A medium-weight 8.0 oz 50/50 cotton-poly blend — ultra-soft, preshrunk fleece that’s cozy against the skin. A spacious kangaroo pocket keeps hands warm, and a twill-taped neck holds its shape. Regular fit, runs true to size; sizes S–XL.
Care
- Machine wash: warm (max 40C or 105F)
- Bleach as needed
- Tumble dry: medium heat
- Do not iron
- Do not dry clean

Meet the Golden Retriever
The breed was shaped in the 1860s by Lord Tweedmouth, who crossed a Yellow Retriever with the now-extinct Tweed Water Spaniel to make a dog that could retrieve on land and water alike. Goldens reached America by the early 1900s and were recognized by the AKC in 1925 — and have been at the center of family life ever since.
