Sleek, graceful, and incredibly fast, the Greyhound is like a racecar on four legs. Known for their gentle nature and love of lounging, they’re happy with a few good sprints and a lot of nap time. Despite their athletic build, they make surprisingly great apartment pets due to their calm demeanor.
Materials
Lightweight 5.0 oz combed, ring-spun cotton in a 1x1 rib knit that springs back to shape. Lap shoulders and a smooth three-snap closure make dressing easy, with double-needle bindings throughout. Solid colors are 100% cotton; newborn to 24 months.

- Machine wash: cold (max 30C or 90F)
- Non-chlorine: bleach as needed
- Tumble dry: low heat
- Do not iron

Meet the Greyhound
Slender coursing hounds appear on Egyptian tomb walls thousands of years old — whether the greyhound descends from them or merely resembles them is argued, but the silhouette and the job were set early: see, chase, catch. English nobility refined the breed for coursing, and for centuries owning one was effectively a class privilege. The studbooks of the 1880s made it official in America; the adoption movement made it a housemate.
