The morning's agenda is set by a small companion who favors short walks and long sits. Dress for both: medium-weight US cotton, ribbed cuffs that stretch on and settle back, a double-needle hem, easy to layer, and softer with every wash and every unhurried start.
Materials
Medium-weight 6.0 oz 100% US cotton in an easy, classic tubular fit. A 1x1 ribbed collar and cuffs stretch and recover, taped neck and shoulders hold their shape, and a double-needle hem wears well. Sizes S–2XL.

Meet the Shih Tzu
The breed descends from Tibetan lion dogs sent to the Chinese court, where centuries of imperial favor perfected a companion in miniature. Englishwoman Lady Brownrigg brought the first dogs to Britain in the 1930s, American servicemen carried them home after the war, and the AKC opened its studbook to the breed in 1969. The lap has been occupied ever since.
