At three a.m., the watch changes: you take the feeding, the Schnauzer takes the hallway. For the smallest one on the roster: long sleeves for drafty mornings, supremely soft combed ring-spun cotton, ribbed binding that stretches and lasts, and snaps that keep changes brief.
Materials
Lightweight 5.0 oz combed, ring-spun cotton — smooth against a baby’s skin — with rib-knit bindings for durability and stretch, and plastic snaps at the cross closure for easy changing. Solid colors are 100% cotton; sizes newborn to 18 months.
Care
- Machine wash: cold (max 30C or 90F)
- Non-chlorine: bleach as needed
- Tumble dry: low heat
- Do not iron

Meet the Standard Schnauzer
Nineteenth-century German breeders refined the old farm type — crossing in gray Wolfspitz and black German Poodle for the signature pepper-and-salt coat — and the dogs reached America around 1900. The AKC recognized the Standard in 1904. In the First World War the breed carried dispatches for the Red Cross; in the peace that followed, the Miniature and the Giant it inspired arrived — and left the first schnauzer the rarest of the three.
