Whippet
A Whippet asks for little: a warm blanket, quiet company, you. A shirt in that spirit: substantial 6.0-ounce cotton, garment-dyed after sewing so the color settles into the weave, a wide rib collar, a tear-away label, and a fade that deepens with washing. Made to be kept.
Materials
A substantial 6.0 oz 100% cotton tee, garment-dyed after sewing for a soft, faded, vintage hand. A wide rib collar and taped neck and shoulders hold its shape; OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified. Relaxed fit, S–3XL.
Care
- Machine wash: cold (max 30C or 90F), gentle cycle
- Non-chlorine: bleach as needed
- Tumble dry: low heat
- Iron, steam or dry: low heat

Meet the Whippet
The whippet took shape in the mining and mill towns of nineteenth-century northern England — a working family’s greyhound, sized for a small house and raced on waste-ground tracks on rest days. English immigrants carried the breed across the Atlantic, and the AKC recognized it in 1888, three years before the Kennel Club got around to it at home. The racing instinct arrives intact in every generation.
