Day 20: Screaming into the Void – Reflections on Starting Small
Share
Sometimes building this site feels like I’m shouting into an empty room, like I’m crafting all these words and ideas and just tossing them into the void. It reminds me of what Steven Bartlett once said about his early days with The Diary of a CEO. He wrote, recorded, and shared even when it felt like no one was listening. It didn’t matter if his audience was zero; he just kept going. And slowly, it turned into something.
Right now, I can relate to that so much. Every ad campaign, every blog post, every little change feels like one more shout into the unknown. I’m still figuring out the sales and marketing piece, which often seems like a game where the rules are only half-explained. But I’m doing it anyway. I’m showing up, creating, and learning – with faith that these small efforts will eventually add up to something meaningful.
One day, this “void” will fill up. The people I’m writing for will find their way here. And when they do, there’ll be a story they can look back on – all these small steps, all these days of showing up, even when no one was listening yet. For now, I’m committed to showing up and staying the course, screaming into the void until it echoes back.
Here’s to the journey. Thanks for being along for the ride.
