For thousands of years this dog has watched over the cold hours alone; now, occasionally, you keep it company. Dress for the shift: medium-weight US cotton, easy to layer, ribbed collar and cuffs that stretch on and settle back, and softness that gains with every wash.
Materials
Medium-weight 6.0 oz 100% US cotton in an easy, classic tubular fit. A 1x1 ribbed collar and cuffs stretch and recover, taped neck and shoulders hold their shape, and a double-needle hem wears well. Sizes S–2XL.

- Machine wash: cold (max 30C or 90F)

Meet the Anatolian Shepherd Dog
For thousands of years on the Anatolian plateau, Turkish shepherds trusted their flocks to the çoban köpeği — the shepherd’s dog — guardians bred to be born among the sheep, live as one of them, and answer wolves without waiting for instructions. The AKC recognized the breed in 1996 — in the Working Group, naturally.
