An ancient guardian surveys the household and assigns itself, without discussion, to the smallest member. The uniform of the guarded: light Airlume combed ring-spun cotton, pre-shrunk and side-seamed to keep its shape, made for snacks, spills, and playground dirt.
Materials
A lightweight 4.2 oz 100% Airlume combed, ring-spun cotton jersey — finely knit, smooth, and gentle on small skin. Side seams give it a proper shape, and a tear-away label keeps it comfortable. Solid colors are 100% cotton; sizes 2T–5T.
Care
- Machine wash: cold (max 30C or 90F)
- Do not bleach
- Tumble dry: low heat
- Iron, steam or dry: low heat

Meet the Anatolian Shepherd Dog
For thousands of years on the Anatolian plateau, Turkish shepherds trusted their flocks to the çoban köpeği — the shepherd’s dog — guardians bred to be born among the sheep, live as one of them, and answer wolves without waiting for instructions. The AKC recognized the breed in 1996 — in the Working Group, naturally.
