Basenji
To a kid, the Basenji was the quiet one who saw everything — cat-clean, curious, always exactly where the interesting thing was. For the co-observer: brushed-soft midweight fleece, a double-lined hood for real warmth, a roomy kangaroo pocket, and a knit that resists pilling.
Materials
A medium-weight 8.0 oz 50/50 cotton-poly blend — ultra-soft, preshrunk fleece that’s cozy against the skin. A spacious kangaroo pocket keeps hands warm, and a twill-taped neck holds its shape. Regular fit, runs true to size; sizes S–XL.

Meet the Basenji
For millennia a hunting dog of central Africa, coursing game for villagers who valued a swift, silent partner. Europeans met the breed in the Congo basin in 1895, but early exports kept dying of disease, and it took until the 1930s for English breeders to establish them abroad. The AKC recognized the Basenji in 1944 — voice, standards, and self-possession fully intact.
