Alaskan Malamute
A Malamute was bred to haul heavy freight the long way home, and it treats devotion the same — steady, all the way. A shirt to match: substantial 6.0-ounce cotton, garment-dyed after sewing so the color settles into the weave, and a fade that deepens with every wash. Keep it.
Materials
A substantial 6.0 oz 100% cotton tee, garment-dyed after sewing for a soft, faded, vintage hand. A wide rib collar and taped neck and shoulders hold its shape; OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified. Relaxed fit, S–3XL.
Care
- Machine wash: cold (max 30C or 90F), gentle cycle
- Non-chlorine: bleach as needed
- Tumble dry: low heat

Meet the Alaskan Malamute
One of the oldest Arctic breeds, developed by the Mahlemiut Inupiaq around Kotzebue Sound to haul heavy sledges across northwest Alaska. The Gold Rush nearly diluted the breed out of existence, and wartime service nearly finished the job — by the late 1940s, registered Malamutes numbered only in the dozens. Recognized by the AKC in 1935, the breed was rebuilt, carefully, from the survivors.
