Alaskan Malamute
Malamute people know each other on sight — often by the fur, worn like a credential, on everything they own. The badge makes it formal: a ring of red rays on a boxy, slightly cropped cut of heavyweight ring-spun cotton, pigment-dyed to a softness that reads like an old favorite.
Materials
Heavy 6.1 oz 100% ring-spun US cotton in an oversized, slightly cropped boxy cut. A seamless body and shoulder-to-shoulder twill tape hold its shape, while OEKO-TEX-certified pigment dyes give a soft, vintage hand that stays true. Sizes S–2XL.
Care
- Machine wash: cold (max 30C or 90F)
- Non-chlorine: bleach as needed
- Tumble dry: low heat
- Iron, steam or dry: low heat

Meet the Alaskan Malamute
One of the oldest Arctic breeds, developed by the Mahlemiut Inupiaq around Kotzebue Sound to haul heavy sledges across northwest Alaska. The Gold Rush nearly diluted the breed out of existence, and wartime service nearly finished the job — by the late 1940s, registered Malamutes numbered only in the dozens. Recognized by the AKC in 1935, the breed was rebuilt, carefully, from the survivors.
