Alaskan Malamute
The forecast said stay in. The Malamute, an authority on weather, disagreed, warmly. For the second opinion: medium-weight US cotton, easy to layer, 1×1 ribbed collar and cuffs that stretch on and settle back, a double-needle hem, and a shirt that softens with every cold mile.
Materials
Medium-weight 6.0 oz 100% US cotton in an easy, classic tubular fit. A 1x1 ribbed collar and cuffs stretch and recover, taped neck and shoulders hold their shape, and a double-needle hem wears well. Sizes S–2XL.

Meet the Alaskan Malamute
One of the oldest Arctic breeds, developed by the Mahlemiut Inupiaq around Kotzebue Sound to haul heavy sledges across northwest Alaska. The Gold Rush nearly diluted the breed out of existence, and wartime service nearly finished the job — by the late 1940s, registered Malamutes numbered only in the dozens. Recognized by the AKC in 1935, the breed was rebuilt, carefully, from the survivors.
