Nobody appointed the Akita guardian of the smallest person; it assumed the office and kept it. A tee for the ward: light Airlume combed ring-spun cotton, gentle on little skin, pre-shrunk and side-seamed to hold its shape, made for snacks, spills, and playground dirt.
Materials
A lightweight 4.2 oz 100% Airlume combed, ring-spun cotton jersey — finely knit, smooth, and gentle on small skin. Side seams give it a proper shape, and a tear-away label keeps it comfortable. Solid colors are 100% cotton; sizes 2T–5T.

- Machine wash: cold (max 30C or 90F)

Meet the Akita
The Akita comes from the mountains of Akita Prefecture in northern Japan, where Matagi hunters used powerful dogs to track and hold bear, boar, and serow. The breed nearly vanished during the Second World War, then came to America with returning servicemen, whose enthusiasm built the American line. The AKC granted full recognition in 1972, in the Working Group.
